Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Aliquippa, PA.

This role provides exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges in a home-like setting, with 40-hour shifts and a 11pm–7am schedule. The Direct Support Professional helps with daily living activities, personal care, meals, transportation, and medication administration, in a non-exempt hourly position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex needs.
• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe home environment.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; implement and monitor daily plans.
