Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Terrace House team in Greentree, PA. The role focuses on providing exceptional care to residents with complex needs, under a 40-hour workweek with a 3pm–11pm shift Tuesday through Saturday.

As a DSP, you will support daily living activities, assist with meals and personal care, and document observations in progress notes. Prior experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
• Pass background, physical, and drug screenings.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and support to residents.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene, and housekeeping.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Transport clients to appointments in Verland vehicles.
• Medication administration as required.
