Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security professional in Garner, NC. The role involves providing security services, patrolling, monitoring access, and responding to incidents at a technology-focused site. Driving duties are primary, with emphasis on safety and adherence to site policies.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, HS diploma, and is comfortable using a computer or tablet. Background checks and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Primarily a driving post.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to clients, employees, and visitors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and maintain logs and visitor records.
• Communicate incidents and observations to site personnel and leadership.
