Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service in Garner, NC. The role provides flexible, anchor shifts with additional shifts available via the scheduling platform, and carries a pay rate of $18.36 per hour.

The position supports a technology-focused site with responsibilities including access control, incident response, and regular patrols. A HS diploma and background check are required; licensing may apply by state.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
