Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Driving Role in Lillington, NC. The role requires patrolling, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence at government locations.

A valid driver’s license is required and the position pays $21.50 per hour with flexible day/evening shifts. You will provide excellent customer service, follow post orders, document incidents, and work with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following post orders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports and logs while communicating with site personnel and law enforcement as needed.
