Job summary

Allied Universal in Garner, NC is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Credential Screening. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while following site policies and procedures.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and 18+ age (21+ for armed roles); X-Ray screening and badge experience are preferred. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
