Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Whitsett, NC. You will patrol and monitor assigned areas, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a high-tech site.

Responsibilities include documenting activities, responding to incidents, and using tablet tools to support daily tasks. Ideal candidates have customer service experience and are 18+ with a high school diploma, and may undergo background checks and drug

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures.
Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of offices, common spaces, parking, entrances, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Document observations and shift handoffs; communicate information to leadership.
