Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a dedicated In-Home Care Specialist for Heath, OH, on a full-time evening shift (5pm–11pm).

You will provide homemaker and personal care, health support, and help individuals with disabilities live independently according to each person’s service plan. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and the ability to work with diverse individuals as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification according to applicable rules.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide supervision to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with persons served and staff.
• Must have at least one year of healthcare experience or experience with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order.
• Provide individual supervision and support.
• Documentation of transportation, billing, and program activities.
• Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to a supportive environment.
• Model confidential and respectful treatment of others and uphold company guidelines.
