Job Path is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support for a young man in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The role requires kindness, reliability, and the ability to encourage independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience working with people with disabilities is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized supports to connect people to their communities.
• Assist with volunteer jobs, classes, social events and other activities.
• Help individuals meet personal and professional goals.
• Document case notes, monthly summaries, and timesheets by deadlines.
