March Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Willimantic, CT, working 40 hours per week with a Mon-Fri 3pm–11pm schedule.

The DSP will provide individualized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assist with daily living activities, transportation, meals, and documentation, while collaborating with a supervisor and team. The role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork.

Formación

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Understanding of basic personal care, housekeeping and related care areas.
• Intermediate technology and computer ability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily instruction and assistance according to each person’s needs.
• Plan meals and follow dietary guidelines.
• Develop leisure activities and hobbies.
• Administer medications as required.
• Manage money for personal items and coordinate transportation.
• Maintain records and documentation during shifts.
