Job summary

CW Resources, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Uncasville, CT. This role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence through activities and community engagement.

Training is provided, and you will work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with driving duties included. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and ongoing professional development within a mission‑driven, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Comfortable working with adults with disabilities.
• Must have a valid Real ID and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily needs (eating, grooming, restroom, mobility).
• Teach and support communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
• Lead group and one‑on‑one activities (arts, crafts, games, music, exercise).
• Support community outings, volunteering, and recreational activities.
• Safely transport participants in the company van to events.
