Job summary

Oak Hill in Thomaston, CT is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time evening shifts. Location: Thomaston, CT. Weekly hours are 35 with a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license to transport individuals in agency vehicles.
Ability to complete background checks, fingerprinting, and pre-employment health screenings.
Willingness to complete required training and certifications.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

Support individuals in daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
Monitor health and document information; administer medications per training and nursing directives.
Promote community inclusion and transport individuals to appointments and activities.
Maintain documentation of daily activities, health information, and medication administration in the EHR.
Respond to emergencies with established procedures and apply First Aid/ CPR when required.
Collaborate with team and participate in trainings and professional development.
