Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in direct support services for persons with developmental/intellectual, emotional or physical disabilities.
• Substitution: Associate’s degree or higher in a human services field may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, promote, and protect individuals’ rights and dignity in compliance with DDS regulations.
• Supervise DSW I’s including daily supervision and training for compliance with DDS mission.
• Provide direct care services in daily living, social and leisure skills.
• Administer medications, First Aid, CPR, crisis intervention, and safety procedures.
• Document and review confidential records, including funds for activities.
• Assist with housekeeping and food-related duties.
