Cedarhurst Senior Living in O'Fallon, IL is seeking a Dining Server for evening shifts to deliver courteous, efficient table service to residents and guests. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, assist with events, collaborate with team, and help uphold Cedarhurst dining standards while supporting resident wellbeing.

You will follow safety guidelines, operate kitchen equipment safely, and communicate menu details to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required by the state in which employed.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and efficient table service to residents and guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area; ensure kitchen and dining areas meet safety standards.
• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions.
• Follow recipes and ingredient labels to ensure proper preparation and consistency of food and beverages.
• Safely operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Communicate menu details to residents and families, supporting positive dining experiences.
