The role emphasizes cleanliness, food safety, and adherence to Cedarhurst standards; you will work with team members to provide a welcoming dining environment and assist with basic food preparation and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• State or county licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and serve residents and guests courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; manage daily checklists for dining areas.
• Assist with dining area upkeep, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events.
• Communicate menu details and accommodate resident dining preferences.
