Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab in Lexington, KY is seeking a Cook to join our Dietary team on the evening shift. You will prepare meals for residents, follow dietary guidelines, and help ensure high quality nutrition in a skilled nursing setting.

Work with the dietary staff to accommodate special diets, maintain kitchen safety and sanitation, manage basic inventory, and keep accurate records of temperatures and portions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Experience with special diets and dietary restrictions is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meals per planned menus and dietary needs.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion control.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation per health regulations.
• Adjust recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and resident preferences.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals on menus.
• Record temperatures, portion sizes, and dietary modifications.
