Job summary

Emerald-Nursing-and-Rehab-Omaha is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dietary team in providing nutritious meals to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with meal preparation, serve meals, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness in alignment with care plans.

The role requires following dietary guidelines, reporting any changes in residents’ conditions, and working collaboratively with nurses and caregivers to ensure high-quality service and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus; on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen areas and equipment.
• Adhere to residents' dietary restrictions and care plans.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to staff promptly.
• Collaborate with dietary team, nurses, and caregivers to ensure timely service.
