Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation: assist with preparing meals per menus and guidelines.
• Food service: serve meals to residents in a courteous manner.
• Dietary compliance: follow dietary restrictions in care plans.
• Cleanliness: maintain sanitary kitchen areas and equipment.
• Communication: report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Inventory: help with stock and report shortages or expired items.
• Resident interaction: engage respectfully with residents.
