Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. Shift: Mon–Fri, 2:00 p.m.

– 10:30 p.m., with a $1,000 sign‑on bonus paid at 30 days and again at 6 months; pay ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience. You will document work orders, ensure road‑worthy status, and may perform road call services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medium to heavy‑duty vehicle repair including PMs and diagnostics.
• Experience with tire & wheel, air systems, and A/C refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and diagnose basic failures.
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration for roadworthiness.
• Document work orders and maintenance in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical parts.
• Perform road call services as needed.
