Collins Aerospace in Carroll, IA is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembler I to gain a basic understanding of deburring and air grinding, and to produce precision parts under supervision. You will read blueprints, operate deburring tools, and help with daily production tasks.

The role includes standard training for the first 2-3 months, a 2nd shift schedule 3:30pm–12:00am, and opportunities to grow within the company; applicants should have a high school diploma and be prepared for extended

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate deburring and air grinding tools and operate speed lathes.
• Read blueprints to verify work completed properly.
• Operate and perform daily/weekly checks on equipment.
• Complete production documentation and labor transactions.
