Job summary

Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Mount Joy, PA is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Custodian for the Mount Joy Campus. The role involves maintaining a clean, sanitary environment across kitchen, classroom, lab, and restroom areas, plus outdoor duties on sidewalks and flowerbeds.

Hours are 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with starting pay $17.00 hourly, based on experience; benefits eligible. Must lift up to 50 lbs, have flexible schedule, and meet PA clearances.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate and receive instruction.
• Ability to operate a vehicle and standard industrial cleaning equipment.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Clearances as required by PA Department of Education (PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse, FBI).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchens, classrooms, restrooms, floors and trash areas.
• Perform exterior cleaning and basic care of flowerbeds and sidewalks.
• Follow a daily checklist and perform other duties as assigned by Lead Custodian or supervisor.
