Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Mount Joy, PA is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Custodian for the Mount Joy Campus. The role involves maintaining a clean, sanitary environment across kitchen, classroom, lab, and restroom areas, plus outdoor duties on sidewalks and flowerbeds.

Hours are 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with starting pay $17.00 hourly, based on experience; benefits eligible. Must lift up to 50 lbs, have flexible schedule, and meet PA clearances.

Qualifications

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is seeking a Full-Time 2ndShift Custodian at the Mount Joy Campus!

Work hours are normally 2:30 p.m. - 11:00p.m.

Lancaster County Career & Technology is in search of a detail-oriented, hard-working individual to fill our Full-Time 2nd Shift Custodian vacancy at the Mount Joy campus effective immediately. Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for all assigned areas. The custodian will clean the kitchen/culinary areas, classroom/lab areas, restrooms, floors, and perform trash removal using a checklist to follow. The custodian will also be working outside of the building, performing basic care of flowerbeds and sidewalks. The custodian will also perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Custodian and/or their supervisor.

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Ability to effectively communicate and receive instruction
• Ability to operate a vehicle as well as all types of standard industrial cleaning equipment.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have flexible schedule.
• Clearances as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education including PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse, and FBI
