Job summary

Montgomery County Community College in Center Square, PA seeks a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean and sanitary campus environment. This 25-hour-per-week, 2nd shift role runs 5:00pm–10:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include sanitizing restrooms, floor care, dusting, washing windows, trash disposal, event setup, and snow removal assistance. A high school diploma or 1–2 years of experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work as part of a team is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years experience required.
• Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.
• Emergency operations: work during college closures for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Sanitizing and restocking restrooms.
• Wet and dry mopping; floor care; strip, scrub, and wax floors.
• Dusting and vacuuming.
• Washing windows.
• Emptying trash containers.
• Wiping countertops and desks.
• Cleaning whiteboards and chalkboards.
• Set up/breakdown of rooms for events.
• Assist with snow removal/de-icing.
