Job summary

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Custodian at the Mount Joy Campus. Work hours are 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Starting at $17.00 hourly, based on experience.

Benefits eligible. The custodian will maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for all assigned areas including kitchen, classrooms, restrooms, and floors. Responsibilities include trash removal, basic care of flowerbeds and sidewalks outside, and other duties as assigned by the

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate and receive instruction.
• Ability to operate a vehicle as well as all types of standard industrial cleaning equipment.
• Consistent Attendance.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have flexible schedule.
• Clearances as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education including PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse, and FBI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for all assigned areas.
• Clean kitchen/culinary areas, classrooms/lab areas, restrooms, floors, and perform trash removal.
• Work outside of the building performing basic care of flowerbeds and sidewalks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Lead Custodian or supervisor.
