Job summary

Georgia Tech in Atlanta is seeking a Custodian II for the 2nd shift (Tuesday - Saturday) to perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks across campus facilities. You will work with custodial staff and building occupants to maintain clean, safe environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning operations, including spray buffing and burnishing floors.
• Strip and refinish floors.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties: empty trash, dust, spot clean, disinfect restrooms, stock supplies.
• Operate and maintain power cleaning equipment such as vacuums and cleaning machines.
• Keep housekeeping/storage closets clean and organized.
• Use prescribed safety equipment as required.
• Use chemicals and supplies safely and as directed.
• Respond to work requests from the service system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
