Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a Part-Time custodian to perform routine housekeeping on campus in Atlanta, GA. The role includes cleaning operations, floor stripping/refinishing, restroom sanitation, restocking supplies, and operating power cleaning equipment.

A high school diploma and two years of related experience are required; a valid Georgia driver's license is preferred. Position is part-time with weekend-only hours (8am–6pm, up to 20 hours).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning operations, typically including spray buffing, burnishing floors, sanitizing trash receptacles, stain removing, window cleaning, etc.
• Strip and refinish floors
• Perform routine housekeeping services: empty trash, dusting, spot cleaning, sanitize restrooms, restocking supplies, mop, sweep, and vacuum
• Operate and maintain power cleaning equipment
• Maintain closets and equipment in clean condition
• Use prescribed safety equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Respond to work requests via service system
• Perform other duties as assigned
