Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a General Cleaner in Bridgeport, CT to perform custodial work across a facility of ~4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour. Schedule is Monday–Friday 5 PM–10 PM, totaling 25 hours weekly, at $19.00 per hour.

The role requires cleaning offices, bathrooms, lobbies, and common areas, following safety procedures and using PPE as needed. High school diploma preferred; six months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial tasks in a professional manner to reflect the company’s standards.
• Cleans offices, lobbies, breakrooms, bathrooms, elevators and stairways.
• Restrooms: sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, restocking supplies.
• Cleans furniture, fixtures, windows, and surfaces; moves items only when directed.
• Locks/unlocks rooms, manages safety while cleaning, and signs out keys as needed.
• Identifies safety hazards and follows PPE and safety procedures.
