Job summary

Owens Realty Services in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain clean facilities across our properties. Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 1 PM to 7 PM; pay rate $22.95/hr; weekly hours 12.

The role involves routine cleaning of offices, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, following safety and infection-control procedures. Flexible weekends and duties as assigned, with 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability on weekends ( Saturdays and Sundays ).
• Ability to perform custodial duties following safety and infection-control practices.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairways.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, stocks supplies, and maintains cleanliness of furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans carpets, dusts surfaces, and polishes equipment; reports safety hazards.
• Operates cleaning carts safely, keeps closets secured, and follows PPE protocols.
• Keeps work area tidy and completes additional duties as assigned.
