Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Full-Time Culinary Aide/Dishwasher for the evening shift (12:30PM-8:30PM) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining environment for residents.

Responsibilities include supporting culinary leaders, portioning meals per diet requirements, and coordinating tray setup. Prior experience is welcome; a sanitation certification is optional but preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (optional).
• Preferred: prior restaurant server experience.
• Required: commitment to customer service.
• Required: willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in meal prep and portioning per menu and diets.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary workspace.
