Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking a Culinary Aide for the day shift to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious and delicious meals by assisting with meal prep and service and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

You will partner with culinary leaders to meet resident needs, prepare and portion meals according to menus and dietary requirements, set up trays, and assist with washing dishes and keeping equipment clean.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meals according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents and assist with dishwashing and maintaining a clean workspace.
