Job summary

Maple Park Village in Westfield, Indiana is seeking a Culinary Aide to support meal prep and service for residents. Day and evening shifts are available as part of a full-time on-site role within American Senior Communities.

You will assist with meal preparation, portioning, setting up service, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area while collaborating with culinary leaders and the service team.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (may be earned on the job)
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience
• Assist in meal item preparation and portioning per menu and diet requirements
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace and equipment
