Qualifications

• Active California Peer Support Specialist Certification required.
• Lived experience as a consumer within mental health or child welfare systems.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; valid California driver’s license.
• One year of full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, engagement, support, advocacy and direct services to program clients of all ages.
• Serve as role models, educators and advocates to clients and help move them toward recovery.
• Coordinate with CSU team to stabilize individuals and connect to needed services.
