Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Irvine, CA seeks a Crisis Stabilization RN to oversee nursing duties in a 24/7 CSU. The role includes supervising nursing staff, maintaining a safe milieu, and ensuring accurate EMR documentation while coordinating with other departments to optimize patient care.

Experience with emotionally disturbed clients and a California RN license are required; CPR/First Aid certifications are also expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; California RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for this role.
• Minimum 1 year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed clients in mental health care.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing duties and supervise nursing staff on shift.
• Manage milieu and facility operations to ensure quality client care and safety.
• Document client care in EMR; collaborate with internal/external departments.
• May serve as LPS designee for qualifying 5150/5585 cases.
