Stars Behavioral Health Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Mental Health Specialist II for the Overnight shift in the Coastal Star Crisis Stabilization Unit. Starting compensation ranges from $67,000 to $77,000 per year.

The role supports adults and youth in crisis, with 24/7 CSU operations and on-site supervision for BBS hours where applicable. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field and is registered as an AMFT/ACSW/APCC (BBS).

Qualificações

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related mental health field.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an Associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a driving record that meets company eligibility policies.
• First Aid certification from an approved provider or the ability to obtain it upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess clients at start of treatment, develop and maintain treatment plans, and conduct family collateral and discharge planning.
• Discuss goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establish a contract with the consumer.
• Interview consumers to team with mental health professionals and respond to potential suicide or other emergency events.
• Visit clients in various living situations to assess mental health needs, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes to staff.
