Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Cook Supervisor - Hourly for the Charlotte, NC area. This full-time role runs 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, five days a week, with rotating weekends. Prior commercial kitchen experience is required and ServSafe is preferred.

ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Directly supervises food-service associates and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
Trains employees and directs work assignments; evaluates performance.
Monitors purchasing to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
Ensures food safety using HACCP guidelines and proper portion control.
Operates and cleans kitchen equipment per policy.
Labels and rotates stored food to minimize spoilage.
Assists with meal service and gathers customer feedback.
Performs other duties as assigned.
