Job summary

The University of Notre Dame is seeking a Cook 2 for the Shields Athletic Dining Facility on a PM shift. This full-time BOH role supports daily kitchen operations under the Sous Chef, preparing and cooking food to Notre Dame standards.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will work across stations, ensure food safety, and help with inventory and labeling. High school diploma or GED and relevant kitchen experience are required; shift is 1-9 PM.

• Must be available to work 1-9 PM.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Relevant culinary or foodservice experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and production needs.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, taste, and portioning.
• Support multiple stations and assist with service execution.
• Monitor station readiness and food levels.
• Follow direction from the Sous Chef and support team workflow.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
