Job summary

The Evening Controls Technician at Marvin will handle advanced tasks on production machines, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, including PLC programming changes to improve production reliability. Training occurs on day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to evening shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related role.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Forklift and aerial platform licenses required.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and determine service needs.
• Use ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance in the plant (EAM).
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Set up servo controls and variable frequency drive operations.
