Job summary

TopRx in Bartlett, TN is seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to DEA, FDA, and state regulations within the distribution center and controlled-substance areas. The role reports to the Compliance Manager and supports audits, onboarding, inventory control, and licensing maintenance.

Evening hours: Mon–Fri 4:00 pm–8:30 pm with rotating Saturday afternoons. Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent level of industry knowledge.
• 1+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance desired.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to work with warehouse management software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all Compliance SOPs.
• Review customer accounts for compliance with regulatory requirements regarding controlled substances.
• Assist in onboarding for new and reinstated customer accounts.
• Assist in preparing and responding to customer audit requests.
• Provide support to Compliance Manager and Director of Compliance.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Maintain accurate inventory accountability records for all controlled substances.
• Support facility licensure with governing bodies.
• Manage access controls, records, and compliance for secure areas.
• Maintain documentation for controlled substance destruction.
• Report theft, loss, or diversion to regulators.
• Respond to inquiries and compile information for regulatory audits and site visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
