Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Good Samaritan Society – Comforcare in Austin, MN. The role supports long-term care residents with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision.

The position offers evening shifts, a part-time schedule, and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and contributing to a safe, compassionate care environment while adhering to infection control

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification within four months.
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Ongoing continuing education credits required (12 hours annually).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, transferring, and range of motion.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Document resident interactions and participate in care planning.
• Support infection prevention measures and PPE usage.
