Job summary

Sanford Health's Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will support daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and work under the supervision of an RN during the evening shift.

The role involves documentation, mobility assistance, meals, and participation in wellness activities. A CNA certification is required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification required with state board or in process of obtaining certification.
• Annual continuing education credits: minimum 12 hours.
• If applicable, driver eligibility and Sanford Driving Policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic health care needs and daily living assistance to residents under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, range of motion, and walking using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals and dining to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry assistance and support wellness activities.
• Participate in committees or task forces as needed.
