The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan delivers resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and psychosocial support while upholding infection control and safety policies.

Eligible CNA candidates with a GED or high school diploma may apply. The role includes evening shifts, full-time scheduling, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus in De Smet, SD.

Competenze

• GED or high school diploma preferred, not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or eligible within four months of the date into the position.

Mansioni

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, transfers, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining experiences.
• Support infection prevention policies and PPE usage.
