Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides caregiver support to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and follow infection control policies to ensure quality care.

Salary ranges from $19.00 to $25.50 per hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time positions, and comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with State Board of Nursing is required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, meals, and vital signs as needed.
• Support transfers, range of motion exercises, and psychosocial needs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
