Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at The Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered care in long-term care, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will support infection control, assist with meals and documentation, and participate in wellness activities while maintaining safety and comfort for residents; evening shift and 40 hours per week are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification with State Board, or in process of obtaining certification.
• Continuing education: minimum 12 hours annually.
• UAP Registry eligibility where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Document resident interactions, vital signs, and care outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, meals, and medications administration as directed.
