Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated evening shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Howard Lake team. The CNA provides resident-centered care and daily living assistance under RN supervision, and supports transfer, ROM, and dining activities.

Full-time evening role with 32 hours per week; weekend/holiday rotation plus benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO. Active MN CNA certification is required to begin; driver’s license not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or CNA experience in long-term care is preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process within four months of date into position.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning and range of motion exercises.
• Assist with dining and meals; help maintain a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
