Good Samaritan in Waconia, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for evening, part-time hours. The role offers 20 weekly hours and a salary range of $22.60–$28.00 per hour. CNA certification with the state board or enrollment in a training program is required, with ongoing competency testing and CE credits urged.

Must be able to assist with daily living activities and basic health care tasks. The position includes patient-centered care, supervision by an RN, and involvement in infection control

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of start date.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education required.
• PotentialDriver status may apply in certain states with driving responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking; support range of motion exercises.
• Assist with meals and dining to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry support and assist with wellness programs.
