• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position, training provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• Support transfers, positioning, mobility, and ROM exercises; assist with meals and dining to create a positive experience.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Follow infection prevention policies and appropriate PPE use.
