The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Sioux Falls Center provides resident-centered care during the 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shift, working a 40-hour week in a skilled long-term care setting. Under the supervision of an RN, you assist with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and supporting meals and wellness programs.

Qualified applicants will hold a CNA certification, be at least 16 years old, and commit to ongoing education and infection control policies.

Formación

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintenance of yearly competency testing and continuing education credits (12 hours/year).
• If applicable, for states, certification with Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) registry and driving eligibility per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing).
• Record and communicate vital signs and changes to the RN.
• Assist with meals and dining experiences and support wellness programs.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ROM exercises, and use of equipment.
