Good Samaritan in De Smet, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for an evening shift to provide resident-centered care under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, transfers, and mobility while delivering compassionate support to residents in a not-for-profit, Christian care environment.

The role includes documenting care, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with meals and wellness activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with state board.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and walking using proper techniques.
• Document care and vitals; communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining experiences for residents.
