Job summary

Good Samaritan in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, transfers, vital signs, meals, and documentation while following care plans and infection prevention policies.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certification (or enrolled within four months), a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification with State Board, or in process within four months.
• Annual 12 hours of continuing education and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor resident condition.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and recreational activities.
• Follow care plans and infection prevention policies; document care provided.
