Good Samaritan in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, meals, and vital signs while maintaining infection control and safety protocols.

This full-time role offers day shifts, a 40-hour work week, and a competitive benefits package. A CNA certification is required or must be pursued within four months, and ongoing CE

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board, or be in process of certification.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Annual continuing education minimum: 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with meals and hydration and document outcomes.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and maintain clean living areas.
